creamy texture

Alcohol Denat? Really, Shiseido?!

It's so frustrating that we are now in 2026, with a plethora of skincare brands out there touting their "knowledge" and "expertise" while including alcohol denat in their formulations. While there are many new brands that don't include this ingredient, I find it funny how Shiseido is hellbent on using this irritating and drying ingredient. While others may find the products work for them, I get EXTREMELY oily when using Shiseido products. I've tried many variations of their products (I really would love to become a Shiseido customer!), but it all comes back to the alcohol really doing a number on my skin. Not sure how Sheseido is so modern and futuristic with their packaging, but stuck in the stone age when it comes to their formulations using a very irritating and drying ingredient like alcohol denat! Quite frankly, they should know AND can do better.
