Half size too small

I got the 9 and they were too small and they arrived dirty-they fell out of the shoe box while being shipped. Ordered a size 10 because the size 9.5 is not available. Again arrived dirty and worn looking. They are slightly too big. I’m sad as it’s a beautiful shoe.
