Beautiful bag! Too large to carry on =(

The color is STUNNING! BEAUTIFUL BAG! This bag is smaller than my current travelpro carry-on, but still larger than the published limitations for the airlines I fly. I have never had an issue with my current bag, however, the vibrant color of this bag creates an optical illusion vs my black bag. This bag looks so much larger than my current black bag, even when you place them next to each other. I looks so large that I'm certain every gate agent will require me to place it in the sizer and I know it won't fit. Its a real bummer, but I'm returning this for fear that I won't be able to carry on as intended.
