Honest. Help from a SENIOR

I’m having communication getting information about my PW about my passcodes getting into my BOSE ACCOUNTS. I am a 86 years senior, but my vision is limited. HOW CAN I GET SOME HONEST ASSISTANCE. Thank you Homer

I've been using Bose products since the 70's. I still use these old 70's speakers and they still work just fine. Of course they have made improvements on the newer units but just the same, they are still great. I really love the ability of the soundbar type of addon speakers that finally let you hear the spoken words that always get drowned out by the background music without adding them to your TV.

Quality Sound from a Quality Product

I purchased this over a month ago. Overall I am very pleased with it. It is a quality product and sound is very crisp especially on speech. This is particularly helpful when watching films and TV dramas where the speech can sound rather muffled. Set up is via an App which is easy to use provided you have a smart phone or tablet. Found it a little confusing on how to configure using TV surround sound setting and connecting via fibre optic sound cable - no information given on these subjects for the average person without HiFi knowledge. Once mastered the overall sound is excellent and I recommend this product.

A couple weird ticks

Sounds really good but doesn't have a display to show intervals of sound like many other soundbars do. Also, my TV (2024 era Samsung) turns back on by itself when I turn it off - it doesn't do it when soundbar disconnected.

Regarding the display, Bose Smart Soundbars are designed with a minimalist aesthetic and do not include a front-facing display panel for showing volume levels or other audio information. Instead, status indicators and settings can be accessed through the Bose app and on-screen notifications when supported by your TV. As for your Samsung TV turning back on after being powered off, this may be related to the HDMI-CEC communication between the TV and soundbar. Since the issue does not occur when the soundbar is disconnected, we recommend checking the HDMI-CEC settings on both the TV and soundbar, as well as ensuring that both devices are running the latest firmware updates.
