Product Details
Web ID: 5481797About The Brand
GAURI KOHLI is a design house creating sculptural objects for the home in marble, onyx, travertine, brass, acacia wood, wool and cotton. Founded in 2012, it is named for its designer, Gauri Kohli, who directs every form, material and finish. What It Is
Mango wood, carved into two shakers with concave faces running the full height of each body - the grain changing direction from face to face, moving between warm honey and deep brown as the angle shifts. A brushed steel cap in matte gold sits flush at the top of each, cool against the wood. These shake rather than grind, so they suit a table where the seasoning is already ground and gets passed rather than worked. Picked up, the body is warm and the cap is not, which is the first thing anyone notices. Measurements: 3.5" H x 1.75" D Material: Solid mango wood with brushed steel caps, matte gold finish Color: Warm honey and rich brown with natural grain variation; brushed matte gold caps Set includes: One salt shaker and one pepper shaker Natural variation: Slight variations in grain tone and facet depth highlight the individuality of each pieceFeatures
