If you prefer placing fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent handwashing, because that tends to rinse off the scent. Replace fragrance after 12 months, because expired perfumes more than a year old lose the integrity of the original scent.

No staying power

Despite this scent being billed as ‘intense’ it lasted about 30 minutes before it could no longer be detected. I asked both my husband and a friend if they could smell any of the fragrance (after 30-40 minutes from the initial spray) and neither could smell it at all.

Expired cologne

Obtained 2 bottles. Both lot numbers were about 1.5 years old and the fragrance could barely last 2 hours. Returned both. Better luck purchasing at the J Malone store
