Braided rattan over steel, finished in matte gold - three cheese knives whose handles are woven tight and consistent, narrowing toward the collar where the metal begins. The blades are compact and precisely formed: a broad flat spreader, a tapered leaf blade, and a two-tine fork. Rattan does not take on the cold of the cheese or the warmth of a room the way a metal handle does, so the grip stays neutral through a long board. The braid narrows steadily toward the collar, so the widest part of the handle sits where the palm does.
