The Classic Whistling Kettle is crafted from fast-heating premium carbon steel and is topped with a lovely light gold-tone heart knob. Useful for preparing French press coffee, oatmeal and much more in addition to tea, durable carbon steel heats water rapidly, and a fixed single-tone whistle alerts when the water has reached a rolling boil. Le Creuset kettles make excellent gifts and are a beautiful way to add a touch of color to the kitchen.

awful quality! Fell apart.

Was so excited to purchase this and it fell apart within 7 months! It also started to rust and the paint began to chip off into the boiling water. Very unhealthy. So disappointed as I paid full price for this item and wanted to love it. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
