Good but disappointed
This lunch box had great potential but falls short a bit for us. The overall design is very thin and after having it for only a few weeks the paint on the lid is already peeling off. Overall, it works fine but with how much we paid for the item - it's a bit of a disappointment.

Too Difficult for a 5-Year-Old to Open
My child is unable to open and close the clips on the lunch box by herself. They are very stiff and difficult to use, especially for a 5-year-old. Unfortunately, they are not âeasy to open and closeâ as described.

Look great & love stainless steel, but has flaws
Love the idea of these. We upgraded our plastic bentgo boxes to the stainless steel this year. They are very cute and love the colors but unfortunately other areas miss the mark. For starters these boxes donât fit in our Bentgo brand lunch boxes anymore - which is frustrating given itâs the same brand. These are much longer/wider, but thinner. The hinges to open and close are also stainless steel and they get locked easily so to close the box you have to maneuver by pulling it out then up and over. Not a huge deal but wasnât easy for my three young kids and had to teach them. Again, we have always used Bentgo and just switched from plastic to stainless steel model. Iâm still getting used to the compartments so not a formal complaint but the sizes are a bit off. Nothing quite fits great in any of the various arrangements. We are still using them so they are functional, but I was slightly disappointed in our upgrade given the above.

Could be better
Hard for child to open and close the lid for a 4 year old

Hinges not durable
Dropped one time and the hinges broke off from the lunch box itself. Now the item is only functional as a tray as the lid cannot secure to the lunchbox. For a lunchbox meant for children, an occasional drop is not unexpected and one would expect the product to be designed to be able to withstand that normal wear and tear.
