A Good Smartwatch

I bougt this watch on sale and have worn it for only about two weeks, so I may need to revise in the near future. My old watch was a Samsung Frontier 3, which I wore for a few years. The Venu3 appears to be a fine watch. The watchface/screen is very easy to read and the "switchology" is OK, although I'm still climbing the learning curve. I'm not sure if I will find all the included workouts helpful, but it does keep good track of my walks and my exercise sessions at the Senior Center. It could integrate better with my Samsung smartphone, but again I'm still learning the switchology,

Happy With My Choice

I bought my Venu 3 towards the end of October last year. I didn't place a screen protector on it and cracked the crystal and had to have it replaced through the warranty service. That process was quick and easy. I really love the watch. It does everything I wanted and then some.

So far so good. After my VivoMove died and wouldnt charge anymore. My wife, who has the venu 2, bought me the venu 3.

Disappointed

My wife and I bought two Garmin watches, including a Venu 3. We’ve found them frustrating to use. The menus and settings don’t feel intuitive, and simple things seem to take more effort than they did on our Apple Watches. We were hoping we’d enjoy the change, but so far we’re disappointed and wondering if we made a mistake switching.

A Bit Quirky

Overall happy with the device it is a bit quirky as displays of activity disappear from time to time just a bit of an inconvenience as it is easy to restore them to the display. Sleep score is a bit quirky as well it will give different scores with the same background components for example one day it will tell me that my sleep was poor the next it tells me it was fair with the same amount of deep and RAM sleep, but this might be that I do not understand how the algorithm works. The device is sturdy, easy to use/read and overall, I would recommend it.

Love the optional displays

I bought this to replace a fitbit charge 6. As a 79 year old guy with bad eyesight, I just couldn't read the display on the Fitbit. I used to have a older version of the Garmin Instinct and I liked the display, so thought I would try the Venu 3. After having the watch for about 3 months and learning about the features I prefer to be on the display, I am very happy with my purchase.
