Great machine with great results

Have had the submarine just over two weeks and I can’t be more pleased with the results so far. The suction of the device is unbelievable and the amount of dirt that is being sucked up is quite scary. The submarine part is very impressive and cleans the floors very well even when you think the floors are clean. Hardly any moisture left on the floor once finished which is a great thing about the machine.

Removing Rand to empty is ridiculous

Works great, like the V8 before, but having to remove the wand to empty is ridiculous.

Great vacuum

I bought this vacuum 15 days ago, replaced my corded Dyson DS-77. I have been using Dyson corded vacuum for the past 10 years (2 vacuums) thought I would give the cordless vacuum a try, as it is so much lighter to manoeuvre, it has good suction, however I am concerned about the runtime. I get on 45 minutes showing on the LCD screen with the vacuum fully charged. I have set the vacuum to Auto and medium setting. I would like to get 60 minutes runtime with the same settings. Overall I am happy with the product. I have not yet used the fluffy roller and the submarine attachment.

The 60-minute battery life is achieved in Eco mode, while the Auto setting dynamically adjusts suction and countdown based on your floor type and debris levels. Good and not so good, but expensive.

The vacuum cleaner is on a par with my previous Dyson’s, expensive for what it is, but I do like the green light to show me all the bits I need to pick up. Full power is certainly powerful, but the eco setting leaves bits behind on the floor. I would really like a single attachment for carpet and hard floor, which I believe the V16 model has, but it is a flawed design and gets poor reviews, so I chose V15 instead (I also have the Gen5 which is similar). The washing attachment isn’t doing a better job than an ordinary mop, it leaves stains on my vinyl flooring and having to wash and dry the roller after every use is a pain. I don’t think Dyson has got this bit right.

Unhappy

I’m not very happy about the replacement mop head I have received. It’s not washing the floors as well as the original one. I notice a lot of spots the Dyson is not cleaning

Average mop

The mop feature on the vacuum is terrible, doesn’t clean the floor properly, leaves wet dust marks on the floors
