The Best Birthday Gift 🎈
We gifted The Play Tent for our daughter’s first birthday, and she and her 4-year-old sister absolutely adore it! It’s become a magical little hideaway that’s acted as a catalyst for countless hours of imaginative play and entertainment. We’re so impressed with how durable and stable it is (even with two energetic girls!), and the beautiful design fits so sweetly into our home. This tent isn’t just a toy, it’s already a favorite spot, a stage, a fort, and a source of joy for both sisters. Highly recommend!

Toddler loves it, but could use design tweaks
Pros: This is a nicely made tent! Smooth wood with no splinters, the holes all match up during assembly, the canvas is a good weight with straight seaming and no loose threads. The canvas also fit perfectly when we first set it up, and after some use it stretched out; we washed on cold and tumble dried low and it once again fit great. It would be nice if the ties were about 1. 5” to 2” longer, but that’s more of a preference. Cons: I really think this should have an extra stability bar across the bottom on the back. After about 6 months of use, there is enough wobble in the joints that my 20 month old can now tip it over accidentally while going in and out with a hand on a front bar (she has to duck in at average height for her age). Since each of the four legs can move independently enough to become unstable, it can also kind of “walk” if she bumps a leg, making it like tripod (like a chair with one short leg). We’ve attempted to tighten the bolts twice, but as a testament to quality control, they haven’t loosened at all, so I think it’s a design flaw. I could overlook the wobbling issue way more if this folded down flat, as our home is very small. It would totally be a 5-star item if I could regain square footage after bedtime!!

Quality product
This is a second product that I bough from Lalo, I like the quality of play tent, its solid and I also like to size of the the tent that fit in my son room, it doesn't take too much of the space and it looks nice.

Worth the money
Setup was easy. I just wish the instructions were a little easier but honestly they were simple. It looks stunning in my playroom and fits in well. The design is great too!! The doors tie back easily. It’s big enough that I (5 foot 9 inches tall and not skinny) can fit in with my 99 percentile one year old. I bought a round play mat for the floor to make it comfy.
