Beautiful and functional

Beautiful and sturdy. The grinding mechanism is as smooth as butter! The wood is smooth and evenly stained. Great addition to my kitchen!

Not built for long term use

These looked great at first and I loved them when I bought them about a year ago. Unfortunately, the shellac or whatever is put over the wood is already flaking off the bottom of both the sale and pepper shakers. These have never been submerged in water—to be honest, they haven’t even needed to be cleaned yet, so they’ve never even been wiped with a damp rag.

Excellent product. Great quality and well worth the extra premium overall the cheaper sets out there.

Well sized and built, look as if they will last a lifetime, as described.

The salt & pepper grinders are very good quality and look great, so easy to use.

Both work well, like the gradations of coarse to fine. Would like a stainless steel base to put these on rather than plastic.

They look great and are easily adjustable. Much better than electric mills.

Perfect in every way. Quality, ease of adjustment, perfectly presented and well worth the money. Highly recommended. Buying more as gifts.
