Don’t waste your money
Anytime you clear your throat or cough or sing or even just open your mouth they turn off it is extremely annoying!

Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're running into this issue with your WH-1000XM4 headphones. It sounds like the Speak-to-Chat feature is activating when you don't want it to. This feature is designed to automatically pause your audio when it detects you speaking. The quickest solution is to either turn the feature off or adjust its sensitivity: -Turn Off Speak-to-Chat: The fastest way is to simply hold two fingers to the center of the right ear cup. You'll hear a voice tell you it's been deactivated. -Adjust via the App: For a longer-term fix, we highly recommend diving into the Sony | Sound Connect app on your phone. In the app, look for the Speak-to-Chat setting. You can choose to either toggle the entire feature off, or you can adjust the Voice Detection Sensitivity to "Low" so it won't trigger from minor noises. You can learn more about this on our site. Love that you can switch between NC & Ambient !!
Absolutely love these headphones they're amazing for noise cancellation and the fact that I can switch from noise cancellation to turning on ambient sound for when I'm riding my scooter or walking or biking so I can still hear what's going on around me but then I can also choose to my noise cancellation turned on if I feel like just listen to music the sound is amazing and I love that I can download the app and adjust the settings to exactly the way I like them so any makes the best headphones!!

Amazing Sound AND Features
I received Sony - WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones as a gift from my father-in-law. I'd been researching brands and models for months and finally asked for advice from someone more knowledgeable than me. My father-in-law decided he'd just buy me the same ones he bought for himself. The sound quality is phenomenal and the features included are fantastic. Super comfortable, durable and decent color selection. I love them!
