Beautiful woody spicy skin scent
This is probably my favorite Jo Malone fragrance of all time. It's seductive, yet not overpowering. It can be characterized as intense, but overall it's a skin scent. The dry down is one of the most complicated musks on the market. That being said, after a while your nose won't smell skin scents… this is common. However, anyone who is close to you (like your husband) will smell it and love it. It's not overly feminine but not masculine either— as is characteristic of the best woody scents.

Where is the ginger
Weak negligible scent. Less than short acting. very disappointed. The single star is for the bottle.

Reluctantly, I again ordered Joe Malone’s , dark amber and Ginger, Lily, which is a cologne which I love. The last time Bloomingdale’s sent me the Joe Malone cologne, It was expired and the scent was not very strong.. I thought I’d give it a second chance and it’s been 10 days and my delivery still has not arrived and now you want me to review Joe Malone’s dark amber and Ginger lily. Bloomingdale’s get your act together.!

Best from JO Malone
I have several JM scents. Today, while visiting a new site in Edinburgh, Scotland, I was introduced to Dark Amber. It's quite intoxicating and I can't stop smelling it. My go-to is Myrrh and Tonka but this one could be next in line, or replacement! Lasts a long time for me and my spouse loves this scent with my skin!

Baccarat Rouge, Jo Malone…
They send us the original sample perfume, and when you buy they add some alcohol, very different 😳. I already returned a baccarat rouge that the sample was amazing and when i bought 😡😡

Does NOT last at all
I fell in love with this fragrance when I sampled it at Bloomingdale's. The fragrance lasted and the notes ARE beautiful. However, when I ordered it and wore it for the first time, it barely lasted an hour. I can try every hack I see to make fragrances "last longer," but still nothing works. For such a great brand I would expect a quality product. I am very disappointed. The minis included as my "gift with purchase" are far stronger/longer lasting than the "intense." I even checked to make sure I didn't purchase from an incorrect site in error, that's how badly it performs. I was so looking forward to this fragrance and to say it fell short is an understatement.
