What is going on with the gold jewelry lately!

I'm not sure if they did a bait and switch, but the bracelet couldn't fit my wrist. This is for a baby's wrist, not an adult's. Plus, there was no weight to it. Back in the day, gold was heavy, not the quality it used to be. So I was confused that it didn't fit my wrist, and it wasn't the weight I was used to. Had to send it back the next day!
