Urban chic and elegance are the hallmarks of the new "Intaglio" collection from Wedgwood, yet drawing its design inspiration from the delicate embossing of the Georgian era, the fresh white color way is crisp, clean and contemporary. "Intaglio" highlights the traditional skills of knurling and engine turning, the arts of indenting designs in wet clay to give a distinctive tactile finish. The designs are unique across all the pieces and bring an intricate web of fresh but understated silhouette to the table.

Questionable authenticity

I have a Wedgewood Intaglio set previously purchased from Wedgewood. I ordered this bowl from Bloomingdale's to replace my broken one, and I am extremely disappointed. Its embossing is NOT significant; it almost looks like a drawing on the bowl. The original bowl I have at home has distinct indenting that you can feel on your fingertips. Don't purchase it here if you want a premium-quality item. Please compare the photo explanations: the left side shows my original with beautiful, finely detailed carving, and the right side shows the item I purchased from Bloomingdale's.

Gorgeous Set

I ordered these a few months ago, and I love setting my table with them! They are very pretty in person!
