Cuts through hard homemade sourdough crust pretty easily

Great knife. Cuts through hard crusted homemade sourdough bread and that's what we were looking for. Wusthof is a great brand and has been around a long time. I only wish they had free lifetime sharpening because this knife will require a professional to have it sharpened.

Jo Wusthof Bread Knife

Love my new bread knife. Slices sour dough bread like a dream, even the large hole loaves. I also like the Wusthof boning knife that I also received. The blade is the right size and super sharp for slicing meat off bones.

PERFECT Bread knife!!

Once I received this bread knife, all the other poor performers went in the trash! Going on almost 10 years of AMAZING service from this knife. Its a definite keeper and Ive given these knives as gifts to others as well.

Perfect bread knife.

I LOVE my Wusthof knives. My husband bought me a FULL set at least 25 years ago. I have had a some handles crack in that time (understandable after 25 years) and they have stood by their warranty and replaced them at no charge to me. I cannot recommend these highly enough. Also, I love to cook so they get a LOT of use. Only thing is you CANNOT put them in the dishwasher and I don’t. Love, love, love these knives and this company.
