Third Rate Shoe

I purchased the cognac leather cap toe oxfords exactly a year ago. I wore them modestly, perhaps once a week or so within a carpeted office environment and virtually no heavy walking load. In less than a year, the shoes lost color and got patchy —- evidence of a shoe made from poorly tanned leather. Shoes at this price should last at least five years. I’ve Carmina and Crockett & Jones that look the same after fifteen. Sure, these are lower price but they ended up at a higher cost per wear in the end. Customer service cited the 30 day policy. I would not buy any Bloomingdale branded shoes again. Order #757325135 in case HQ is reading this.
