Beautiful, but sizing is confusing

I saw these wonderful shoes in a store, but did not stop to try them on. I kept thinking of them so finally went online to order them. I know the length of my foot and I have success using the size guide when ordering shoes online. Doing this with this shoe said that I would be a 37.5. I am usually a 37 and I’ve never heard of a shoe size at 37.5 nor do they sell these shoes at half size. Reading the reviews I saw the people say to size up so because of that and because the size 37 was not available, I went ahead and ordered size 38 and they were large I loved the shoes when they came and I’m sorry they didn’t fit. I have returned them and ordered my usual size 37 directly from Zadig and Voltaire.
