  • about the brand

During his first trip to Delhi, Michael Aram was so captivated by the rich tradition of craftsmanship and centuries-old metalworking techniques that he set up his own studio. More than 30 years later, over 200 local Indian artisans handcraft exquisite tableware, linens, and decorative objects for the home. Inspired by the natural world and drawing on the designer’s background as a painter, a sculptor, and an art historian, the brand’s striking creations pair delicate organic details with signature metalwork.

Michael Aram Tree Of Life Tzedakah Box

I just bought 4 of the Michael Aram Free of Life Tzedakah boxes. One for myself and for my 3 adult children and their families. They are absolutely beautiful. Using them as a Hanukkah gift that will keep on giving back every time tzedakah money goes in there.

Beautiful and well made

I bought this in my journey to giving to charity or the poor (tzedakah). It is beautiful and well made. Even if i wasn’t using it to store money, i would enjoy displaying it.

A perfect gift.

I bought this gift for an exceptional woman - retiring after years of service helping the elderly and families in need. I thought no more perfect gift than this tree of life combined with the meaning of giving tzedakah, charity. Physically, the design of this piece is exquisite, and a beautiful piece of art. The gift was received with tears and I know I chose the perfect piece.

Perfect gift

Beautiful tzedakah box. I gave it to my friend as a housewarming gift and she loved it! It did take a long time to receive as it came directly from the manufacturer.
