  • How To Use It

    Use morning and/or evening, after cleansing. Apply to the face, neck and décolleté as well as the delicate area around the eyes after using the Darker Skin Tones Foam Cleanser. For SPF protection, add a few drops of Sun Drops to the cream or use them separately 5 minutes after the face cream has absorbed. Re-apply Sun Drops every 2 hours for maximum sun protection.

Light but luxurious

I purchased this product after trialling it as part of the Dr Sturm Darker Skin Tones Discovery Set for about 10 days. The light formulation feels luxurious on application and hydrates my skin effectively without feeling greasy. I haven’t experienced any pilling when used under make up, which means I can use it as part of my morning facial routine. This is a fabulous replacement for the Antonia Burrell moisturiser as the brand appears to have been dissolved.

Prefer the anti-aging moisturizer.

I do like the moisturizer, however, I strongly prefer the anti-aging moisturizer and will buy that again. The anti-aging moisturizer is definitely for me, more hydrating.

Amazing for the warmer months

I only use Dr. Sturm products I have been on a Barbra Sturm regimen for almost 3 years as I take the supplements as well and I have recently been using the darker skin, dawn line and mostly I always purchased the darker skin tones, face cream, rich, but they were out of stock, so I happily purchased the regular darker skin tones, face cream And I do have to say I notice a difference in the consistency. This one is a bit more emollient than the darker skin tones, face cream that is rich so those with extremely dry skin, I would definitely recommend waiting for the darker skin tones, face cream, rich to come back into stock, or when it is, it is one of the best face creams ever . This is one of the best face creams ever as well, especially for those summer months, and especially when I would put on this darker skin tones, face cream, and then apply the Dr. Sturm SPF sun drops and I think that if I would. Have had the rich formula along with applying the sun drops it would have been a bit too much hydration, so this is perfect for the summer months although the next time I purchase, I will be purchasing the darker skin tones, face cream, rich, because I have the most extremely dry skin in the world and that just helps the dryness on my skin so much from the inside out!

Super Hydrating

I have oily skin and typically go for gel creams to avoid a greasy look. But I don't have that issue with this cream! It immediately seeps into your skin and love to use it on the nights I'm wearing retinol to reduce the amount of peeling my skin goes through. This is my second jar and will keep buying more!

First time User

I have recently begun to purchase Dr. Sturm’s products so it may be too soon to give informed review. However I’m a woman of color with medium brown skin. As a more mature woman, I’ve tried many products over the years. Dr. Sturm’s dark skin line is the first that leaves my skin soft to the touch after the first use. I am experimenting with all the products, not just those for dark skin, and will weigh in again in a few months, particularly the anti-aging serums and moisturizers.
