Heaver side, straps need work.

This is my first Tumi backpack. The backpack doesn't hold as much as it appears to, and it can get heavy quickly. The straps are somewhat adjustable, but the shortest setting still sits low on my back (I'm a tall woman with a long torso). When I asked about adjustments at a local Tumi store, the representative told me that it was a known issue, and to take it to a tailor instead. I've traveled a few times now with this bag filled (with some tech gear and clothing), and the weight/position of the backpack + the thin straps have caused some discomfort. Pluses: the material appears durable and the bag looks sleek.

Stylish, but straps are uncomfortable

The bag is very stylish, and the material is great. Overall, I’m happy with the bag, however, the straps are super uncomfortable. I’m used to carrying two laptops. With my previous book bag that wasn’t a problem. I could carry it for hours. With this one, I find that there’s more strain on my back and shoulders, because the straps aren’t comfortable.

Best Purchase!

I bought this bag in Paris Chammps D Elysees store and it is by far - the BEST bag I've ever purchased! Great for weekends and overnights too!

The bag looks and feels excellent. The only problem is design of straps. As another reviewer has mentioned, the straps don't get short enough in length for an average size male. Will need to be take to tailor to be custom adjusted.

Perfect work and travel bag

Perfect size bag, was slightly smaller than I thought which is great because I feared it might be too bulky. Has the right amount of compartments and pockets, looks sleek and comfortable
