Flowery but sultry!
An excellent throw, and even burn. I was initially unsure if I’d like it, and Byredo are often hard to smell unlit in a shop, but I read other reviews and went for it - really pleased I did! I can easily smell it unlit and only need to burn it for an hour for the whole floor to smell, not just the room.

Super cute and aesthetic
This candle smells absolutely lovely—like fresh roses! The packaging is super cute and aesthetic with the black wax, perfect for displaying on a vanity, shelf or bathroom. It is a bit pricey for the size, but it makes such a nice little treat or a perfect stocking stuffer gift.

this is pretty popular and with good reason. it's unusual, but classy. The leather is deep and dirty and the rose isnt a fresh rose but a dark, vampyric rose. Or maybe it's a violet note.... I oftne feel i'm not in the mood for this, but then when I smell it I change my mind! standard size definitely best value coz the small ones burn v fast.

Too strong
I wear Byredo rose of no man’s land and love it. I think this candle smells good but it’s just way too strong and overpowering. I had to return it - it was just too much in my space without even lighting it
Not my favourite
I like smoky fragrances and I like rose fragrances so this sounded like a perfect match. However, it smells like somebody set fire to a bunch of tyres and people sent roses to the funeral. It's just not a pleasant smell to me. Other people clearly love it so don't take my word for it.

Gorgeous
Have been hooked on this since visiting the glossier showroom in New York many moons ago. The scent is so much more than just a floral - it's a smoky, sultry, elegant rose which has a great throw. So unique and beautiful. A real gorgeous treat! Looks beautiful on the side too.
