Nice luxury primer

This primer has a very smooth almost silky texture that makes foundation glide on more evenly. It blurs pores slightly and helps makeup sit better throughout the day. I especially like it on days when my skin looks a bit textured. It also has SPF which is a nice bonus. That said it does not dramatically extend makeup wear on very oily skin and the price is quite high for what is essentially a smoothing base. It feels lovely to use but the results are more subtle than transformative. A nice luxury primer if you enjoy that soft focus finish but not essential for everyone.

Goes Patchy

Based on the reputation of Hourglass, I was so excited to try this primer. Initially, my make up went over this beautifully. I like a dewy look and I tend not to powder. Perhaps this is a factor. However, after 4/6 hours, my make up started to break up and go patchy, especially on the chin and around the nose. My makeup performed better without the primer.

Caused pilling

I wanted to love this, and would give it another chance but when I tried it underneath concealer it caused major pilling. Could be that it needs time to set but quite disappointing so far. I have heard rave reviews so may give it another try and leave a few mins before applying anything on top.

It is ok

I bought a small one after the glowing review and I’m glad I did. I think it does the job but it is not mind blowing. For some foundation it can be hard to work with cause it leaves the foundation a bit patchy. It seems to work well with light coverage skin tint or I haven’t found a way to work with it. I won’t purchase another one.

Amazing

I love this product, I have large pores in my cheeks and forehead and this covers them well. The foundations sits great to , it looks smooth and lasts all day. It's non greasy to.. I was recommended this by a store member. After trying many different ones. I won't change back now.
