    Brought back from Indochina in 1828, the mandarin-tree has since prospered on the occidental banks of the Mediterranean Sea. Facing the Messina Strait, it sculpts the Calabrian landscape without a touch of bitterness. The mandarin's softness hints back to ancient times when its essential oils composed an elegant, odorant grammar.

Gorgeous

The scent of this candle is just gorgeous! What an absolutely exquisite scent. The glass vessel is beautiful, not a boring cylindrical shape (like most candles), and made of a higher quality glass. The rim is uneven but I think that's part of the intended aesthetic, likely handmade. It's definitely special and although expensive, worth it.

Best candle!

I brought this for my sister as a gift because she misses Italy so much, however due to COVID-19 we can't travel to there this year. An alternative is to take a voyage olfactif and indulge ourselves in the beautiful citrus scent. She loves it. Cire Trudon candle is the best, I highly recommend their product.
