Known for its delicate leaves that resemble butterflies at rest before taking flight, the gingko biloba tree was the muse behind Michael Aram's sculptural Butterfly Ginkgo Collection. Each design is rendered by hand to create a striking masterpiece for your table.

  • Features

  • about the brand

During his first trip to Delhi, Michael Aram was so captivated by the rich tradition of craftsmanship and centuries-old metalworking techniques that he set up his own studio. More than 30 years later, over 200 local Indian artisans handcraft exquisite tableware, linens, and decorative objects for the home. Inspired by the natural world and drawing on the designer’s background as a painter, a sculptor, and an art historian, the brand’s striking creations pair delicate organic details with signature metalwork.

lovely

Delicate and beautiful statement piece. Using it for decor as a dining table centerpiece! Love the details and the color work beautifully for my dark modern table. Not sure what the issue was with the box, perhaps a return item but the box was moldy and stinky. However, not taking a star for that but the seller may want to look into it. I am keeping it as the item itself is gorgeous and just discarded the bag and the box. I keep saving so I can now and then add some of these pieces whenever they are on sale.
