Nice kettle but with annoying beeps
Nice kettle but the beeps are annoying. Beep when you pick it up, beep when you put it back. Many people suggest a button combination to turn the beeps off, but it doesn’t work for this model.

Solid quality kettle, missing Celsius temps
Great product, good design, feels sturdy, works well. Docked a star for only having the temps in F. Should be in Celsius or at least both.

Works really well. The lid design is super nice
I don't really use any of the special temp settings, I just go for the full boil. But what I love about it is the how the lid opens very slowly and is built so that it drains back into the pot. No more worrying about spilling hot water when opening it! I do wish it would beep louder. You have to be right next to it in order to hear the beep. Anywhere else you have to notice that the boiling stopped. Overall a great kettle made with the Breville high standards.

I love this kettle!! i never knew tea could taste so different when boiled to the correct tempature, i will never go back, the performance is well worth the price

Attractive with good features
I bought this to replace a Breville tea maker which we had for many years, using it multiple times a day. This unit is an improvement with a good variety of tea settings—white, green, black etc. it is an attractive appliance worthy of being left out on the counter.

Great replacement
The previous Breville kettle we had lasted more than a decade. It still worked, but over the years the lid got loose, there were cracks, the outer decorative paint peeled. A decade is a long time for something that sees a lot of use every day. This one might last even longer. We went for the glass option, so there is no paint to peel at all. And I took apart the old kettle to see how the lid opening mechanism is screwed together - I could've fixed it if I knew it. This new one seems to have the same one and I'll be able to fix it if the same problem develops in a decade. P.S. It beeps louder than the old one did. Either the beeper accumulated some lint over the years or the new one has a different part. I am still getting used to it being louder. Would be nice if there was a variable resistor to adjust the volume by turning a screw on the bottom.
