Known for its delicate leaves that resemble butterflies at rest before taking flight, the gingko biloba tree was the muse behind Michael Aram's sculptural, handcrafted Butterfly Ginkgo accessories.

  • Features

  • about the brand

During his first trip to Delhi, Michael Aram was so captivated by the rich tradition of craftsmanship and centuries-old metalworking techniques that he set up his own studio. More than 30 years later, over 200 local Indian artisans handcraft exquisite tableware, linens, and decorative objects for the home. Inspired by the natural world and drawing on the designer’s background as a painter, a sculptor, and an art historian, the brand’s striking creations pair delicate organic details with signature metalwork.

Michael did it again

Absolutely stunning craftsmanship! Always a fan of this line. Beautifully designed and practical at the same time. Loved the matching cheese slicer. Heavy in weight but still handle with care.
