Leaves a coating on hair

I thought this was wonderful when I started using it, along with the matching shampoo and conditioner. It's a brilliant toning product and definitely took the brassiness out of my highlights. But over time I realised there was a build up of a plastic-y type coating on my straighteners and I think it's this - or the shampoo/conditioner. And when I looked at my hair brush it completely clogged the bristles with the same coating and I think was ripping my hair. So I've stopped using all three as I really can' afford to lose any hair! Disappointing, given the price.

Did not work honestly, still love Oribe though.

Did not see a color difference at all (have had better result with Amika purple shampoo actually). Also, it left my hair stringy like and oily which did not go away after blow drying or anything, only went away after the next shower. Do not recommend.
