  • What It Does

    Redesigned for a quick and targeted stream application, the No.0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment features an easy to use nozzle that primes the hair and delivers the highest concentration of the patented bond-building technology of any Olaplex at home product. Primes hair to intensify benefits of No.3. Jump starts repair deep within the hair strand.

  • How To Use It

    - Use as the first step in a two-part at-home system with No.3 Hair Perfector (sold separately) to strengthen and repair all types of damaged hair.
    - Apply slowly to dry hair, distributing evenly from root to tip. Work No.0 into small sections by squeezing the liquid into the hair to be fully absorbed as you go. Hair should be damp, not drenched. Let process for 10 minutes. Do not rinse. For the complete treatment, apply No.3 Hair Perfector over hair with No.0 applied to it, combing through as needed. Let process for a minimum of 10 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and condition. For best results, use No.4 Shampoo and No.5 Conditioner.
    - Brush or detangle hair before applying No.0 so it can easily be absorbed. For thick, coarse or long hair, work in small sections to ensure each area is fully saturated.
    - No.0 bottle should last 3-6 applications, based on hair length and density.

Damaged hair

I didn’t correlate the damage that I’m experiencing to this product until I read the reviews and realized it’s exactly what I’ve experienced! I love olaplex products but I used this on my curly hair and now my hair looks and feels damaged. I’m praying I don’t have to cut it all off and start from scratch. I used it alone, so I don’t know if that is what contributed to the damage. I’m going back to no 3 and pray it reverses the damage.

Highly recommend!

I only use this when I want to add an extra step to my hair routine and treat myself. I let it sit and then pair it with No. 3 and my hair always thanks me later. My only issue is the nozzle needs to be reworked as it does not distribute as a fine mist.

Good to try

It's good to try and have to following with No.3 pre-wash as well. But the spray head does not disperse like soft mist, it quite hard line of the liquid. If you don't mind about the hard spray it's quite good and help the hair bonding for the weak hair.

Not convinced

I tried this as part of a wider gift set after hearing so many recommendations. For me it was just ok- I couldn’t see a noticeable difference to justify repurchasing. I also found that you have to use a lot of product as per the instructions so I’m not sure whether it lasts that long. I prefer other products in the olaplex line.

Great product - let down hugely by spray nozzle

This is a great product which I use with No.3. I do feel that the nozzle lets the product down significantly though, hence why I have only given this 3 stars. In order to thoroughly dampen the hair, it would be much better to deliver the product via a mist to allow greater control of where the product goes. The jet wets one area whilst leaving other areas dry meaning you have to use far more of the product than you need and you have less control over where the product goes. A mist would be far easier to control and distribute through the hair and far less expensive (better value = better customer experience) and a better user experience overall. At this price, you shouldn't have to decant the product into another bottle with a mister to be able to use it effectively or use twice as much (or more) to get all your hair damp enough.

Bad packaging

I think I love this product. However, I absolutely HATE the packaging. The sprayer broke as I was putting it together. And, why do I have do do this? Sheesh! The other products are hard to open and hard to squeeze the products out.

Not sure what it does

For my fine hair, this was the Olaplex product that had the best texture. However, adding it in as a pre mask treatment before the No 3 Mask, I'm not sure it made a difference. My experience with the overall line wasn't great, my hair looked and felt much worse by the end of the bottles, but this product seems to have played the smallest role in that.

I love No 0!!

This product is amazing! I applied No 0, followed by No 3, rinsed, and then shampooed with No 4 and conditioned with No 5. I also used leave-in conditioner No 6. The result was soft, smooth, healthy-looking hair! I am so impressed because my hair is usually dry looking and a little bit frizzy on wash day. I have white hair, which tends to be dry, but my hair is soft and shiny. I highly recommend this product!
