Beautiful Dutch Oven

I have needed a replacement for my Le Creuset stoneware version but was hesitant because of the weight of the cast iron. It looks beautiful but is definitely very heavy at 14lbs without any food in it. I make tenderloins w/roasted veggies for holidays, and this will keep it nice and warm when serving or traveling.

Le Creuset Dutch Oven ‘one of the best cast irons’

This was a purchase I have been wanting to make for years. The size and price I couldn’t pass up. I’m glad I did. The size is perfect for a larger sized chicken, it had lots of room around the chicken to add some vegetables. I have only tried it once but am looking forward to using it more. The only downsize is the vessel is pretty heavy. Take the lid off first when transferring it to lessen the load if you have issues with your strength. Other than that it is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. Did I mention how easy it is to clean too!
