Classic with just the right amount of flounce!
This dress feels dreamy to wear and the midnight blue has just a thread of sparkle. The zipper is a bit wonky but otherwise it is a solid 10! Looking forward to wearing this to my son’s wedding this September!

Very flattering and comfortable
This is a very flattering dress. I had been looking and looking for a dress for a black tie formal wedding…but still appropriate for spring. The fabric is high quality and has a subtle shine on the navy. I would not call it metallic like the description, just a little shine that catches the light. I am very busty and hour glass and this fits in all the right places. It manages to be fitted enough to look well tailored but the ruffles hit right below to hip to add some fun. This dress falls well with a nice weight to the fabric and does not poof out. It’s very comfortable. Even without shapewear it was very forgiving. I am having a seamstress take in the neckline a bit as it’s too low for my comfort, but that is an easy fix. I bought a size 12 and it fit perfectly, I am a 34 DDD and the bust has ample room, but needed a tiny adjustment. At 5’8” with heels the length was perfection.

Ruffles are pretty but fabric is not shiny
This design is lovely, but the “metallic” look on the website does not appear in normal lighting. Thus the fabric is dull. If you want a matte navy, this your fabric. Also, while the shell has some stretch and comfort, the lining will not give and is very uncomfortable and rides up when wearing. Other than that the fit was good and empire waist on me.

Need to have an hourglass figure.
It’s very big it does run large in the hips because this is a size 2 and I am 5’3” 130 pounds and I’m not a size 2 anymore I am a size 6 to 8. Anyway this fit me waste down but the bustline is way too big for me. A woman needs to have a bustline of maybe a D or double D to fill this out otherwise there’s too much material up there.

Sexy

Nice dress but stinks!!! No quality control!
The dress is lovely. A little low cut so I will have to pin it but very flattering. However, it came out of the box stinking of body odor. None of the other dresses I ordered worked out, so I kept the dress and had to take it to the dry cleaners. Do better, Macy’s.
