La Mer 50 is good protection but overpriced!

I have used La Mer 50 Sunscreen ever since it became an Estee Lauder product. It has become so expensive since that I often contemplate choosing another company's product.

Best face SPF I’ve tried

Not cheap, but the best face SPF I’ve tried so have re-purchased. It is extremely good at keeping skin matte so sits really well under make up and keeps my skin protected. Sinks in easily and quickly so sort of doubles up as a primer base under make up.

Lovely spf

I really like this. Feels luxurious, not too oily and goes on easily without white sheen. I prefer the institut esthederm photo reverse which leaves me feeling brighter and feels like it stays on longer. And it’s cheaper. So 4 stars for me. I would buy again though especially as I use other stuff in the la mer range and like to stick with one brand to see if it all works better together.
