Love it

I love my white KF8 fully automatic coffee machine. It is big but because it is white it only blends to my bench top and wall. It doesn’t make space look smaller. I can also select the beans and type of milk I want. Making me more addicted to coffee … hahaha

Everything we expected

We have been researching fully automated machines for 2 years and finally selected the KF8. After 8 weeks i can report. 1) Coffee tastes great (we use Illy beans) and control over temp, body etc is insane. 2) Milk options are awesome (we use whole and plant) frothing is very nice, zero complaints. 3) Maintenance and cleanup are straightforward and easy. We have been through all of the cleaning routines at least once, easier then we expected. 4) Variety of options for drinks is great, we easily add chocolate beforehand for mochas, and the "coffee" setting is wonderful. We have said goodby to our transitional coffee maker. Very happy with this decision.

A pleasant surprise. Do buy this

We were delightfully surprised how much we enjoy using this everyday. Originally we just intended to use this with guest and dinner parties. Now we use it everyday and even put our main brewing coffee maker away.

Not worth the cost

We "upgraded" less than 2 months ago from the Phillips 5400 fully automatic that we had for over 5 years to the KitchenAid KF8 espresso machine. This machine costs almost twice as much and is a total let down. The first issue is the fact that it doesn't brew hot enough. We have to run a hot water cycle and preheat our travel mugs to keep the coffee warm. The second issue is the fact that you can't brew a double americano so you have to stand there and brew twice. Third, we purchased this on 11/24/25 and of course tested our water with the included tester kit (which shows our water is not hard since we have a water softener and whole house filter system) and it has already prompted us to change the filter cartridge and has also prompted us to do a full machine clean including the "cleaning tablets". We have saved drinks under our profile that suddenly change the settings we saved. We are using whole bean coffee that isn't too oily per direction but still the espresso drips out of one side and streams out of the other. Unfortunately we cannot return the product to KitchenAid since we didn't save the giant box it came in and we can't return it to the store since it has been used, so at this point we may have to eat the cost and just purchase another brand/machine that doesn't cause so much stress before we can actually brew our first cup of coffee in the morning. Save your money...there are far better options out there.

Customizing your coffee is a huge plus!

i bought this as i was looking to move my wife away from the plastic cups filled with who knows what. i typically drink good coffee at work but she was totally dialed into the K cup and i was drinking them on weekends. Bought this and have been using it for over a month now. She's a pretty picky drinker and having the ability to customize your personal beverage is huge. She loves it. i love it and look to coffee at home!
