Love Kat Burki
I have fallen in love with several of Kat's products, and the Retin-C Complex is my favorite. It absorbs so quickly and easily, with a silky texture that belies the powerful actives it contains. It does all this without irritation. It's a wonderful product, and I plan on keeping it in my skincare routine.

Silky Retin-A
Having worked in the beauty industry for almost 5 years I have learned the difference of a prescribed Retin-a and a retin-a you can buy over the counter, I will say this product is good for an over the counter and is about as effective as you will be able to purchase that way.It is gentle enough and non-irritating which is hard to come across with Retin-a’s it also contains vitamin C so you get two in one product. It has a nice silky texture to it and doesn’t feel too sticky like the Kat Burki Vitamin C. It brightens and plumps the skin nicely , the smell isn’t my favorite but not too bothersome. For some reason, Kat Burki line has never been a favorite of mine so I can’t say it’s my absolute favorite but I will say this is a nice product for anyone looking to start there anti-aging journey late 20s approaching 30.Make sure you follow with sunscreen in the morning after you wash your face due to increased sun sensitivity.Attached is a photo displaying smoother skin texture on my skin.

Retin-C Treatment Complex
I have been in the beauty game for all of my adult life, working in various facets of the industry. I Excell in Skincare and Color. Kat Burki's Retin-C Treatment Complex, was a real treat to start using. This is a PM use only product, so be sure this is the type of product you are looking to add before purchase. I love that the instructions direct you to emulsify and heat the product up in your hand prior to application, as client/ consumer education is so important. This is a retinol forward product with vitamin C. So as the retinol is doing its thing assisting in cell turnover and growth, the vitamin C is giving an antioxidant property as well as giving the skin an overall glow. Understanding that this is a product for maintenance and must be used as directed is vital to its overall effect. It had very little to no fragrance and is not tacky, oily, or filmy. Great PM product, especially for mature skin.

Retinol
Retin-C Treatment Complex started transforming my skin a lot quicker than I had anticipated in my 2 weeks of using this daily. I have worked as a medical aesthetician for the last 17 years, primarily using physician strength skincare sold only at doctors offices. Typically, physician strength products have higher percentages of active ingredients and are not formulated so that a wide spectrum of users can benefit. Kat Burki has absolutely knocked it out of the park with this product- it is up to par with physician strength products and for its price point, is 100% worth it. With so many different options in skincare, it’s difficult to know what is actually going to work, how quickly you’ll notice results and if it’s worth purchasing again. You will not be disappointed in the effectiveness of this product. Make sure your skin is clean and very dry before applying. This should be the first product to touch your skin after cleansing at night. I’d recommend using a moisturizer every morning and evening to help with some dryness that can be experienced when using a high quality retinol.

I am a Beauty Expert that has been in the industry for over 27 years as a Medical Aesthetician and Makeup Artist. I am a firm believer in beautiful makeup beginning with beautiful skin.If used correctly, retinoids can be the miracle treatment for aging skin that still suffers with breakouts. Derived from vitamin A, it is one of the only compounds that even addresses skin conditions like psoriasis because of its amazing ability to smooth the skin. It can also cause irritation if used too aggressively, and thin the skin if used too often. Many serums that have some form of vitamin A tend to be too much for my sensitive, reactive skin. But Kat Burki's formula is the best I have tried. It's gentle, doesn't even have the slightest tingle, but even using it a conservative twice a week at night, I can see noticeable smoothing of my skin and fine lines disapppearing. My favorite part is watching the leftover marks from breakouts fade day by day. Definitely a great serum with real results, no peeling or irritation.
