Sizing Problem

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson and the quality is great. The sizing is the problem. I bought a size 6 and the shirt is more like a size 5 and the shorts are more like a 7 or an 8. There’s no drawstring to tighten the waist and the elastic is not a tight elastic it’s very loose. So technically the shirt is too small and the shorts are too big.
