  • How To Use It

    - Shake well with cap on before use.
    - Remove cap and turn the bottle upside down and gently press the soft button on the bottom to dispense 1 drop on the back of the hand.
    - Next, use No. 15 Blush Brush (sold separately) to pick up a small amount of product using a stippling motion.
    - Lightly tap the brush starting at the apple of the cheek, then buff and blend upward toward the cheekbone.

Awful - totally lacks Hourglass quality

So disappointed following all the hype. The packaging is awful and the 'innovative' method of squeezing the rubber bottom to release product doesn't work - it initially did but with a little of awkward finger pressure. It now doesn't work at all. Used a total of 4 times. Product itself is really OTT in terms of colour. Even one drop is far too bright and really difficult to blend in leaving you looking like you have rosea. Not at all like the usual Hourglass quality.

Pop of colour

The blush is lightweight, blendable and gives a natural, dewy flush to the cheeks. Its formula is buildable, so you can go from a subtle glow to a more intense color depending on your mood. It blends effortlessly into the skin, leaving a seamless finish. I first apply it on the back of my hand and then using a brush on the face to ensure a flawless finish.

Pretty and buildable, BUT packaging is a mess

I recommend applying to the back of your hand and picking up product with a dense kabuki brush or sponge. The Hourglass Unreal Liquid Blush is very pigmented with some fluidity, which makes it so easy to blend and build up to your taste. I got shade Whim, it is a bright pink. I like that the blush didn’t pull off my foundation or powder off when I blended it on top of my base. The packaging is beautiful, but not functional at all -- even if you follow their instructions and turn the bottle upside down, thus the 4* rating...

Vision

One more blush for my huge collection, I got it in the shade Vision. This blush has a great formula and the packaging is cute. You only need a tiny bit in order to fake a healthy glow with a hint of colour - this liquid blush is nicely pigmented, lovely texture and lasts a whole day on my skin when I set it with some setting powder.

Great blush

I’m a big blush fan, and typically use powder blush, but as a big hourglass fan, this intrigued me! It’s a really pigmented formula, with a little going a long way. I find it does dry fast, so you do have to blend quite quick. I use the colour Scene which is the perfect pinky/neutral blush. Would definitely recommend this.

Great

Well this blush turned out to be worth the hype. While it’s a liquid formula it has great pigmentation and it’s surprisingly easy to apply with just fingers (you only need a little bit). They are quite pricey but they’ll last you ages and also I like how to pictures are actually accurate when it comes to the colors (especially on the models).

Amazing Liquid Blush

As someone who loves a liquid blush and has used the rare beauty ones since their release, this is the perfect formula. I use the colour scene and it gives the perfect glowy look, almost like you have been in the sun and gained some rosy cheeks. It also blends out seamlessly so you don’t end up with blush blindness.

Pigmented

I love this blusher. It is so lightweight and blends effortlessly into the skin. I find works best by putting a few drops into the back of hand and priming the brush. It gives a natural, dewy flush that looks fresh all day. A little goes a long way. I’ve seen reviews saying the dropper can be difficult but I personally don’t have an issue.
