Beautiful glow
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder is amazing on my cheeks! It gives the most beautiful, soft-focus glow, like perfect lighting in a compact. Best finishing powder
I absolutely love this powder. I have bought high end make up for 25 years and I definitely put this in my top 10 must have products. I love this as much as the chantacaille powder but this one costs a bit less and both are so lovely at giving you an all over HD luminous finish. Matte but not dry. I buy the travel size for my bag and full size to keep at home

Beautiful powder
There’s no way that I can deny that this is a beautiful powder, but this is just a finishing powder. I wouldn’t recommend setting your makeup with this unless you have dry skin. But also because under certain lighting you can see tiny shimmering particles on your face which may not be a desired look for some people, mainly those with oily/combination skin. Overall… your skin will look beautiful with this.

Dim Light - My absolute Favourite
I just love this face powder. It gives the most lovely glow to the face whilst locking in my foundation. I always love the look of my skin when I wear this powder. I do love the pallets Hourglass do but I find the size of the pans a bit small and often there's a few colours I'm just not sure of - I think it's much more economical to buy the bigger size of the one I love the most.

Mattifies slightly and gives a subtle glow
I like the powder (soft light) because it mattifies a little while giving your skin a subtle glow. I like that this powder isn’t drying, but I do think that, as I have oily skin, a more mat powder would be a little better (but then again this is a finishing powder, not a setting powder, I guess you could start with a setting powder and finish with this powder). But as my face produces shine by itself, I don’t really need a powder to give me a subtle glow. Nonetheless I use it as the shade soft light is in my hourglass palette and looks nice to mattify a little. I also use it to blend the edges of my blush sometimes. I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s nice and does the job, but I don’t feel like I NEED this. I think it’s convenient to have this powder in the hourglass 6 pan palettes but I don’t think I would buy the shade on its own.

Beautiful powders
I have been hesitant to try any hourglass powders as they are quite an investment for a relatively small product. However i’m glad I did as they add a beautiful soft light focus effect on the skin. Despite being small they last a surprisingly long time so it’s worth trying out one of these travel sizes before a full size or a palette.
