    Named for a snake's movement through a forest, the scent is mixed around the note of precious and mysterious oud. Intensive and deep, the scent is as hypnotizing as the sound of the snake's voice.

    The design of each Eau de Parfum bottle is inspired by the bottles found on wooden shelves of a vintage apothecary, curious pharmacy jars and the first perfumery containers. Gold lettering, decoration and secret symbols appear on the Eau de Parfum, contained in lacquered Gucci fragrance glass bottles with stoppers, covetable objects for lovers of mystery.

  • How To Use It

    Each oil and acqua profumata in The Alchemist's collection can be layered with each Eau de Parfum. Experiment with combinations to build a unique scent of your beloved scent. Layer pure and highly concentrated perfumed oils with the Eau de Parfum to intensify its strength and richness:
    - Apply your choice of The Alchemist Perfumed Oil first on the wrist and neck.
    - Follow with your Eau de Parfum layered on top.
    - The Acqua Profumata can be applied over the Eau de Parfum to recharge top notes and refresh the overall impression of your signature scent.

    A recommended layer combination for The Voice of the Snake perfume, designed to bring out the different facets of its mesmerizing woody leathery blend:
    - Shower romantic floral over The Voice of the Snake Gucci perfume by pairing with A Forgotten Rose perfumed oil. The pair results in an oud rose scent, sensual and noble.
    - Deepen the mystery of the Gucci scent with A Winter Melody acqua profumata for a camphored oud, resinous and mysterious.

Absolute Showstopper

One of the scents that gets me stopped in the streets! The sillage is powerful and lasts for the entire day for me. It's absolutely one of my favorite spicy/woody scents and worth the price.

Classy oud scent

This fragrance is very unique and there is no other scent like it on the market. With first spritz, I first noticed green oud, then I noticed also saffron and patchouli, the fragrance gives me warm and cozy vibes as well as being a little mysterious. I believe all genders can wear this scent as my partner also loves this scent. I often get asked what fragrance I’m wearing when I have this on. The scent is also very long lasting, I would say that it lasts about 8 hours which is more than enough for me for any day out. Overall I love the scent and believe it is worth every penny, even the packaging feels very luxurious and I love the simple bottle design with the detailed illustration on it. Once again another great perfume from Gucci.

Strong scent - long lasting

First of all the packaging and this bottle are beautiful and looks expensive. The fragrance has base notes of earthy oud and patchouli combined with a sweet smooth top not of saffron. The scent to me is strong and lasted the entire day without the need for re applying however it also feels soft and not over powering at all. It’s for both men and women and my husband also tried it out, we both received lots of comments from our friend’s family and co workers about how nice it smelt. It’s luxury in a bottle which you would expect from the brand and the price range.

Smokey scent

The scent was Smokey and strong. It was definitely detectable but I personally did not like the scent. However, it might be preferable if this is something you like.

I can’t quite put my nose on this scent

I really wanted to like this fragrance as the whole aesthetic of it is beautiful the bottle the box design but on opening it I found the smell to be bland and lack any Will behind it which was quite disappointing. I also found that after a couple of hours, the smell had pretty much disappeared, which is not like other Gucci scents I’ve had.

Amazing but probably not for everyone

My first impression was - omg, this scent is perfect for my man! It is like someone would close in the bottle all his fav things. To me it smells like smoked whiskey. Quite specific and probably not for everyone but I really like it. It lasts for a really long time on the skin. And I need to appreciate the bottle and whole packaging - gives the luxury vibe.

Unisex scent

This to me seemed more masculine than feminine, although it was unisex. It is presented well and stands out, definitely seems expensive, however it isn’t for me.
