Water leaked!

This unit now leaked water all over my cabinet and onto the floor , damaging the cabinet top! I do not recommend this product. Also it dispenses all over the adjustable spout and only a little from the dispensing opening. Its like the hose has come off inside.

Stopped working

The unit is not able to dispense the used coffee (the coffee puck) to the waste bin. The coffee is stuck in the coffee brewer after every use. This is super frustrating. I have cleaned it every day for week since it started occurring and descaled it. I can no longer use it. It is just 1.5 years old.

Wonderful Machine to Start the Day

I really have been enjoying my GE Profile Automatic Espresso Machine with Steamer. I found it very easy to use... while awaiting its arrival I watch the short & informative videos, of which were sufficient functional knowledge for my espresso machine's arrival and immediate use. I've been using it for 2 weeks and it just keeps getting better. I found the interface intuitive with minimal instruction, and I had no issues getting my app to connect with the machine. I typically pull 2-3 shots of espresso a day, and the capacity allows me to go a few days without adding more beans or water. Cons: The sensor that triggers the "Empty Waste" indicator, because it triggers inconsistently. The cobstruction of the steamer wand tilts to the 5 o'clock position instead on being straight vertically (6 o'clock).

What are you waiting for? Best automatic espresso!

This is simply the best appliance treat I’ve ever bought for myself. I love that it takes whole beans and grinds before each cup. It’s simple to use and tastes phenomenal. It is easy to use the app too and it notifies when water needs a refill or when grinds need to be emptied. It’s looks great on the counter and is literally an empty nesting mama’s dream appliance.

We're sorry to hear about your espresso machine water pump issues. We'd like to help out with this. You might be noticing the pump airlock. This can occur when the machine runs out of water and the water tank is still wet. The add water button alert will display paired with the hot water button. To prime the pump, you can refill the tank, dry off the outside of the tank, and then run a hot water cycle until the air is cleared. simple but has issues after warranty

I've had good luck with the GE Profile Espresso Machine with Frother for 18 months with next to no issues. Cleaning is relatively easy and no complaints about size and weight as I don't have it under a cabinet, refilling water is no issue. I thought it was built well, weighs quite a bit more than my pod espresso machine. It started collecting water in puck bin, just like reviewer "regretful_purchase" from 2 months ago, now, its leaking espresso around the dispenser similar to the reviewer Stu67's 3-month old review of Cafe Affetto. I would recommend this for its simplicity if longevity isn't an issue.

DON'T WASTE MONEY

Worked fine and then a clicking noise started. Won't brew and won't dispose the grinded coffee. Tried calling support and got "we don't support small appliances". Tried ordering the part and been waiting for 3 months with the time constantly being changed.

Began breaking after one year

Makes great coffee. Fantastic aesthetic. Does not last. After one the hose that delivers the coffee became disconnected. I was able to dissemble it and repair it on my own. It was a weak hoes clamp that failed. Luckily I am quite handy and have tools to do this myself. I fixed it and began using it again. After two more months the unit began leaking water. I was able to dissemble it to discover that two water delivery gaskets failed. One in the water tank and a second one in the water deliver system. GE does not sell these. I cannot order them and there is no description available to find out what kind they are. If I had paid full price for the machine I would be furious. Instead I am left incredibly disappointed. Such a shame. Seems to be a pattern amongst reviewers. I was expecting a much longer lifespan from GE's machine. Avoid this hard to find unit.
