Tight in middle waist area

They seem to be making jeans differently these days. I think because more people are wearing jeans that have big bottoms and legs and small waists. So the legs tend to be baggy and the waist very small. I love Frame jeans and have several pair but none of them that are the same size are this small in the waist. The legs are not baggy though which is great. I’m an apple shape which used to be great for jeans but seems the pears are having their moment. I really wanted white jeans so I’m going to take these to a seamstress today and see if anything can be done. Bums me out though that I would have to alter brand new jeans. Also, they are very long that I love.
