Eucalyptus scent

A gentle oil which leaves skin feeling soft. I like the eucalyptus scent. The oil is fairly runny, which makes it easy to apply and glide over skin to gently massage in. It turns into a light milk with water applied, to wash away make up and impurities. This is a lovely oil which doesn’t strip the skin. I’ve removed one star only for price which I feel is on the higher end for a cleansing oil.

Very effective but a little runny

I received a sample of this. I cut the corner of the sachet and it spilled out, covering my hand. Presumably the proper packaging would prevent this from happening. Despite this I really liked the cleanser. It had a pleasant fragrance and was effective at removing make-up. Additionally it was easy to remove gently with a cotton wool pad.

Not for me

Received a sample with a previous order, unfortunately it is not my favourite it has a nice texture and glides on well but does not remove all my make up , i have used the balm cleanser in the past , which performs much better for me , it takes all of my make up off and leaves my face hydrated .

Eve Lom Cleansing Oil

I received a sample with previous purchase. Has a very nice silky light texture which glides over the skin. Used as a first cleanse in the evening I found it wasn't as good as my usual The Ordinary cleanser at removing makeup. Nice to try but I wouldn't buy.

Good product

I've been using Eve Lom forever and am hard pushed to stray from the original balm formula. I like the range so was happy to try a sample of this. It's a nice enough oil that does a gentle cleanse. It's lightweight and doesn't leave a residue. It doesn't leave skin feeling tight either. The fragrance is mild and doesn't linger, which is a win for me. I prefer to cleanse my whole face in one go, so knocking a star off because it calls for a second step to cleanse eyes.

Feels lovely but not effective

My first impression of this cleansing oil were that I was very impressed. The oil felt very silky and luxurious on my skin when I was wet but afterwards I felt that the silky skin feeling was gone but my mascara was still on my skin. For an expensive product, I was a little disappointed

First cleanse option

I received this as a sample with an order. It is a nice option as a first cleanse, but, if you are a make up wearer, it will be most suitable if you use an alternative product to remove any eye makeup as it is not suitable for the eye area. I tend to find that my end of day routine needs to be a bit more streamlined, so, I will be sticking with my current first cleanse product which I can smoosh everywhere and get that mascara off, before an all over second cleanse. However, if you do not use eye makeup, or prefer an oil free eye make first cleanse (those with lash extensions may fall into this category) - then this could be just what you are looking for.

Thin Oil consistently

Nice product, does the job , not suitable for eye area so not for eye make up removal but thin enough to spread easily for cleansing on neck area etc , rinses easily allowing for more products application , no annoying residue left behind like some oil cleansers , good cleanser for Mature skin
