Holy Smokes!!!
I rarely write reviews nor have I ever used a product line that I can honestly say made a day & night difference. But I made a huge investment and changed my entire skincare to Barbara Strum & 2 weeks later, I’m shocked at the difference it has made. I am 48yr old female, struggling with extremely reactive & sensitive skin. Surgery induced menopause destroyed my skin, I went from having a flawless complexion to having to go on Accutane to get the inflammatory acne flares under control. Sadly Accutane was not my silver bullet & after enduring 13 months of side effects, I was left with scarred, dull & dehydrated, eczema prone skin, and still breaking out! Multiple dermatologists & aestheticians later, still wasn’t happy with my skin. But after making switch to only strum products my skin has done a complete C change! It’s astonishing, my skin is bright, acne & dermatitis free. And most importantly, it doesn’t feel reactive anymore, like I’m just one step away from breaking out or getting a rash. I use, cleanser, enzyme cleanser, toner, clarifying serum, anti aging serum, niaminiacide serum, night serum & clarifying cream. Occasionally Barrier drops at night. Adding sun drops next & can’t wait for those to arrive. I know these products are expensive but if you are on the fence, I encourage you to try them, they are worth the price because they are life changing. Thank you Dr Strum!!!

One of the Lightest Face Creams
I have struggled with finding face creams that work well for my skin. I have tried a lot to find something what will help with my break outs and not add to it. This has certainly be a winner. Wish I had more money because yes they are gold. I supplement with the free face cream I get for my day time wear. However I feel as though this could be hurting me and I have been experiencing more break outs. I wish we had options for free products if I choice between face creams (excluding clarifying) I would choose the light.

Good
This cream keeps my skin matte as long as several hours. It absorbs immediately, non greasy and moisturizing enough for the morning. In the evening I put it only on oily zones as I am 54 and need smth more anti aging. I am also on Spironolactone.

It does not have much for the amount it cost and does not have all the necessary ingredients to clear acne, again, for the cost.

Works with Cystic Acne
I have never had a daily lotion that works as well with my skin. I struggle with cystic acne and although my breakouts have not stopped, they have become less irritable while keeping my skin moisturized, minimizing flakiness and healing time. Photo is of a bad breakout 2 days ago. The scent is barely there and it doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. You can easily apply makeup after using, but I wouldn’t suggest mixing it in. Will be buying again and again.

Not as I expected
Not worth it for the price. I have acne prone skin and I’ve been using the product for over 2 months now and I don’t see a difference.

Best clarifying cream I have used so far
I have difficult skin as it is usually on the dryer side and shows impurities only from time to time depending on what I ate, weather etc. so it was really hard to find a creme that hydrates and reduces break outs at the same side. This creme has been fantastic and reduced break outs a lot while also keeping the face hydrated.
