Uneven cooking

I received my express dash waffle make last week and was eager to use it this morning for Sunday breakfast. The waffle taste, which would have been the batter recipe, was good, but the quality of the waffle fineness was disappointing. The top side of the waffle did not brown at all or very little. The bottom browned nicely. The picture shows the bottom after I flipped it for the picture. Probably going to return it. Bummer!

Don't buy it

This waffle iron, does not cook the waffles evenly...raw at the edges. If you let it cook a little longer, they burn. It doesn't have a control temperature.
