Nice lipstick

Having used the vinyl lipstick from Byredo it is nice to see a matte version. Their lip products are pricey and only worth it if you really like the colour. They go on well and are not drying.

One of my favourite lipsticks

Huge fan of the Byredo liquid lipsticks. I have several of the Vinyl Liquid Lipsticks and love them and had to try the Matte version. Happy to say the Matte version does not disappoint. I find these hydrating and heavily pigmented. These do not dry down to a traditional liquid lippy. So they are not transfer-proof. This doesn't bother me as I would prefer a flexible formula than a crusty dry lipstick.

Lovely formula

I really like the formula on these as they are less drying than your typical liquid lipstick - they are the more modern mousy type texture which does not dry down entirely but definitely stays put. However, the colours available all run towards orangey/reddish tones and I would have loved more pinky lighter nude shades. Packaging, as is normal for Byredo, is outstanding!

Ode to Mom!

My 92 year-old Mother wore face powder, blush and red lipstick. Period. The same Revlon shades her whole life. Simple, but timeless. I am also simple in my makeup choices - but I like VARIETY in my red lip! Byredo knocked these formulations out if the park! My eyes were drawn to both Fire Grace and Red Coma. . I am glad I got both!
