too dry but pretty

the packaging and the colours of this were what drew me to it and i took a gamble trying it since i have very dry peel prone lips . unfortunately this was not the product for me , i like the moussey lightweight texture but it did make my lips dry out as the day went on and became very uncomfortable

Drying

Now I must preface by saying that my lips tend to dry out with almost any lipstick and as a result I don't tend to wear a lot of products on my lips... I wanted to give this a go as I don't like to reapply throughout the day. The pro is that it is long lasting and transfer proof. The con is that it does make my lips even drier and I get a white line on the top of my bottom lips. I will use up but wouldn't repurchase.

Lovely but slightly dry

This is a nice matte lip colour. I found it a bit dry after a while yet the color seems to stay on the lips and there is little transfer within the first couple of hours. Easy application and decent looking bottle. 4 out of 5 stars as By Terry products always prove to be reliable.

Great

First foray into matte lip as tired of re-applying lipstick all day.I have this in rosy kiss in shone do I went with the same colour in matte. It’s a lovely strong rise with a lot of pigment and it stays on very well. The only quest I have is that on older skin the lack of blurting can look a bit like a lipstick shout and perhaps a little bit ageing? Anyway, I’m looking at other colours and so pleased I tried,

Comfortable matte lipstick

I think this is one of the more comfortable matte formulas available, it's almost a mousse formula that applies and lasts pretty evenly. It doesn't get too cake-y or gritty when re-applied; only downside is I do think it is losing pigmentation/density over time, when I've only had it a couple of months. Also the doe foot may be a difficult shape for someone who isn't used to it.

Lovely Range of Shades

By Terry is one of my favourite brands. I have the Lip Expert Matte in quite a few shades, but my all time favourite is Rosy Kiss. It gives great lip coverage and is easy to use. It stays on the lips really well and is not too drying. It isn’t a cheap product, but you have to pay for quality.

My Red - great shade but so much fragrance!

I loved the My Red shade in this, it was exactly what I like a red to be. The formula has lots of pigment and gave great colour depth, and was only a little drying. Unfortunately the fragrance is so strong it is overwhelming. I could smell it not just on application, but for hours afterwards. The 2nd time I wore this it gave me such a bad headache I took it off again, and haven't used it since. So if you are sensitive to heavily fragranced products avoid this. If not, it might well suit you as otherwise I liked it.
