This votive candle has a beautiful glow when lit. Makes a great gift for anyone who loves NY. I buy them for all of my friends and family that live out of town and they love it.

New York State of Mind

I gifted this beautiful Bernaud votive to a lifelong New York City friend who is being relocated to the West Coast. When she is missing "home," she can light this up and be comforted by the golden glow, and elegant design and Lady Liberty holding her torch high for all the world to see.

Unlike any other Votive

These votives literally come to life when lit - the unique design gives a 3 dimensional look to the scene when a votive is lit. Just light the small candle, wait a few minutes for the porcelain to "warm up" and you have this beautiful scene that you cannot take your eyes off! Lovely as table decorations for a dinner party or for setting on a side table. Delicate, elegant, yet really cool - I live in Venice Canals/Marina del Rey and this is something beautiful for all ages and party or entertaining divas! Be careful of course and store safely when not in use or keep in a place that is less likely to drop. Not overly delicate, but it is not meant to be knocked around! Try several similar styles for a set table with a theme or use the flowers for a different feel. Bernardaud is an excellent brand.
