looks nice, works most of the time.
Pretty good. Struggles with some smoothie mixes, where you have to remove container, shake and reinstall to get proper mixing. Happens to me about once a week.And, the blade base fails after 3-4 years. That's lame! My last blender lasted 12 years!

Giving the vessel a gentle shake during blending is actually something we recommend from time to time, particularly for thicker blends. We'd love to share a few additional tips that can help keep ingredients circulating smoothly: 1. Add ingredients in this order: liquids, ice, produce, leafy greens, then powders, seeds, nuts, nut butters, and honey. 2. Aim for at least one-third liquid in your blend, adjusting as needed for your desired consistency. 3. Start with 5–7 quick pulses before running the full one-minute blend cycle. 4. Fill ingredients at or below the Max Fill line. Regarding the blade, we appreciate you sharing your experience. To maintain optimal blending performance, we recommend replacing the Beast Blade every 6-12 months, depending on frequency of use. Not functional at all
Brand new B10 blender worked for about 10s before the light started flashing amber and refused to turn on, even after repeated cleanings and resets

I have used it since I unboxed it and use it At least once daily if not two for a variety of needs.I followed Kale Junkie on Face Book for some time and saved one of the videos she had on the product and went back to it when I gave my Vitamix to my Niece as it was two longand I found the length the one I had difficult to reach into to clear my mixes.. I know vitamix now has shorter, stouter vessels , but I had one of the first ones, and The Beast has different sizes and the cost for the variety of them don’t add up to a Vitamix which are also great products.I am very happy with them and they are lighter and easier to store.

Smelly blender
We’ve had ours for over a year or two and have struggled cleaning it. There’s a silicone ring on the motor/blade part that you can’t remove and food get trapped underneath. I saw other reviews mentioning the same issue. The trapped particles makes your cup smelly and is overall just gross. Ended up returning ours for a ninja. Loved the aesthetics on the beast though. Just wished they thought it through when it comes to cleaning.

Hi Jen, Thank you so much for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your Beast Blade held an odor. This can happen if the blade area isn’t scrubbed after each use. Also, just a note: the gasket is designed to stay in place and allow water to pass through, so it shouldn’t be removed. If you’re open to giving the Beast another try, here are some cleaning tips to keep everything fresh: 1. If you'd like a deeper wash, all parts of the blender -- except for the base -- can be washed in the dishwasher. Just be sure to put the pieces on the top shelf. We recommend doing this as least once a week for best results. 2. Once a week, do a simple blend with 2/3 of a vessel of water and a couple drops of dish soap, and let it run for a minute. 3. Once a month, clean the vessel and blade with ½ Vinegar & ½ Water. 4. We recommend placing your Beast Blade with the non-blade side down in between uses to allow all of the water to completely dry out. 5. Finally, we recommend scrubbing your vessel and blade with a brush after every use. If you blend frequently, consider keeping a spare blade on hand to rotate and extend longevity.
