HUGE Privacy Breach via On Frame Caption

W!recutter praised the privacy approach of this brand, but their "on-frame caption" feature is such a huge breach that I am now skeptical of everything else Aura claims to do and fearful of how my pictures and information are used. DO NOT use their app or buy their physical frames until they remove this harmful feature! If a photo is shared to multiple frames, EVERYTHING about that photo is visible to EVERY frame it's shared to. Including this new "On-Frame Caption." Even to users who only have access to one frame. And, any user can add a caption - not just the user who originally added the photo. There is NO WAY to turn captions off entirely / disable the feature. This has marred what should be a joyful time for our extended family (captions are being used like comments and are visible between estranged family members) and added a huge amount of stress on us when we're already juggling a very new newborn.
